So, i feel as though i am half way through this semester and it isn’t even week three…yet!  Classes are starting to gear up again, but i am not.

Maybe i should up my caffeine dosage? Yeah…that’s a good start (Yes, i just answered my own question! My PSYCH Prof.  point this out to me a lot.)

I wonder what is associated with answering one’s own questions?  Hmh I am going to go look at some e-journals and see if i can find any studies on it lol…

Yep,  I am a geek…Hmmm…which raises another question: Why aren’ti jumping into all my texts this semester if  I am such a geek? Maybe i feel like it’s all getting redundant!

I need a new challenge…I’ll keep ya’ll posted!

Hello 2010!

January 21, 2010

Wow, time really has flown by…can’t believe it is 2010!

… and I can’t wait for this semester to start kicking, because then i will know it’s almost over lol

I have a a few interesting classes this semester, and a couple comprehensive classes that involved a lot of busy work.  If there is one thing i can’t stand,  it’s busy work.  I say- give me two major exams in one semester vs. 30 different mini projects any day of the week.I have experienced both, and have to admit that both options have their pros and cons but ultimately it is a matter of preference, so i’lll deal!

Random thought…

December 2, 2009

It’s so easy to have people pinned and put them into some sort of box.  Lesson of the day: people do this, don’t take it person..despite how great what you have to offer may be.

Amazing

November 18, 2009

I recently went back home in the middle of the semester in order to deal with international student legalities.  It was awesome being home, however anticipating the amount of work i would have to do once back was scarey.

BUT i have to brag on the staff here at UNT and say: they have been amazing! They have been working with my situation (being that i am an international student) and i have been able to get my bearings and plug back in!

I love this town, this Uni…I missed it while i was gone and am glad to be back!

International students…

October 8, 2009

I think being an international student should qualify you for all sorts of jobs! Why?

As an international student you learn so many skills and character qualities….

Multitasking is a must…

Logical reasoning…

Thinking on your feet is a must…superhuman processing….

Reading, understanding and applying legal jargon is a must…

High management capabilities is a must…

Sustaining high levels of stress and functioning at a optimal level is a must…

If you ever get a chance to at least study abroad: DO IT

October

September 29, 2009

October is around the corner. It’s going to hit me like a tone of bricks because I have been terrible about managing my time lately.

Where is my motivation? I need to find it quick smart…before i know it, it will be mid October…mid semester…okay, I’ll stop writing about getting things done, and go do them!

Til’ next time!

Labor Day Weekend!

September 10, 2009

Wow…this labor day weekend was amazing and alien to me…

Went camping and boating on Lewisville lake…

Tied the boat up to rows of other boats…

Floated in the lake for 3 hours…with great and close company…

…as well as hundreds of random but funny strangers.

We definately do not have anything like that in Austalia, it was a first!

Let it be known

August 25, 2009

Lennys has the best Philly cheese steak sandwich in town! Right on 380 and Locust…

Fuzzys has the best quesadilla!

Mr. Chopsticks has amazing Asian food!

Central Grill has great hamburgers…

Beth Marie’s has the best ice cream ever! Oh, the Sundaes…amazing…

Moving On…

August 12, 2009

Graduation is here!  Another round of “good byes” is waiting at my door step.

I thought that with each round of “good byes”, the easier they would get…nah i was wrong, it all just adds up lol

Between Greece, Australia, and now America, I was tempted to say that i have had more than enough of saying “good bye.”

However…it’s the rough “good byes” that let you know the character of the experiences and friendships you  have forged…so thank God for the rough “good byes,”   they make it matter.

I’m grateful and blessed.
